Hello Hello! How are you? Do you remember the ICT TOOLS? (screen, headphones, laptop..) Okay! Let's review them first playing the game!

 ¡Hola hola! ¿Cómo estáis? ¿Os acordáis de las herramientas tecnológicas? (pantalla, auriculares, ordenador portátil...) Vamos a repasarlas primero jugando a un juego.

Today we learn the expression, in Spanish, "El/Ella PODÍA"... or "El/Ella no PODÍA..."

Hoy vamos a aprender algo muy IMPORTANTE!. Vamos a aprender cómo se dice en Español las expresiones  "El/Ella PODÍA"... or "El/Ella no PODÍA .."

COULD (podía) es el pasado de CAN (puede)

COULDN'T (no podía es el pasado de CAN'T (no puede)

PRESENT               PAST
CAN                      COULD
CAN'T                   COULDN'T

OK! LET'S REVIEW WHAT I SAID!
¡Vamos a repasar lo que os he explicado!

AFFIRMATIVE 

In affirmative, to say "PODÍA" we have to write "COULD" before the verb. For example:
SHE COULD sing (Ella podía cantar)
HE COULD play the guitar (El podía tocar la guitarra)
En afirmativo, para decir "PODÍA", tenemos que escribir "COULD" antes del verbo. Por ejemplo:
SHE COULD sing (Ella podía cantar)
HE COULD play the guitar (El podía tocar la guitarra)

In negative, to say "NO PODÍA" we have to write "COULDN'T" before the verb.  For example:

HE COULDN'T dance (Él no podía bailar)
SHE COULDN'T eat pizza (Ella no podía comer pizza)
En negativo, para decir "NO PODÍA" tenemos que escribir COULDN'T. Por ejemplo:
HE COULDN'T dance (Él no podía bailar)
SHE COULDN'T eat pizza (Ella no podía comer pizza)
